Today I got angrily honked at by a driver while riding my bike

I was on a two-lane road in the left lane heading through an intersection. He was in the right lane turning right. There was no one else on the road, and the light was red. At first he started with a friendly beep, and, then, when I failed to disapparate, he laid on the horn as he sped past in that passive aggressive way that says “my time is more valuable than your safety.”

This man was not delayed in anyway. I didn’t get between him and his, I’m sure, incredibly important New Year’s Day appointment. He just objected to my existence, that I had the gall to take up space on the road—space he wasn’t even using.

Cars make people lose their minds.
